Well I guess what qualifies as “exciting news” has changed quite a bit since I got back from Thailand. For instance, today’s exciting news was that I got a new toaster oven. I consider it a birthday present for myself. :nod:
I’ve been shopping around for them for a while now, and finally found one that has the right features and price. Not only that, but I got a 10% discount because it was the floor model. I looked it up when I got home with it, and the reviews are good! 😀 Who knew there were toaster oven reviews? I can finally make those tasty tuna melts and mini pizzas I’ve been dreaming about forever.
I would be excited to have a toaster oven. We get to fry everything in oil here. mmm unhealthy and messy

I’m a fan of toaster ovens especially in the summer when turning on the oven is against all laws of sensibility 🙂 You give me hope that I’m not the only person who buys themselves kitchen things for their birthday :hug:
PS MANYK!!! if you happen to read this you can get mounts for toaster ovens that afix to the bottom of your overhead cupboards so as not to take up valuable counter space. I’ve used them and they work and look dandy 🙂
Oh my, undercubboard mounts never came into my head … I think I’ll go take some measurements now 😉
