It seems like a long time since I’ve written in here, and well, that’s because it’s been a long time since I’ve written in here. I had thought I wasn’t busy for the last few nights, but apparently I have been. More detailed entries will follow, but here’s the executive report on the weekend:

Friday night – performed in The Experiment, which was a longform improv show at the Staircase Theatre. Stuck around to watch KPR, Amica, and Gary Reid perform in their three-person Oddacity show afterwards.

Saturday – Worked all day installing computers downtown. Yay. Then went to the improv jam at the Staircase that night. It was a good show. There was a newcomer named Leslie who was really good. I got to play in a lot of scenes with her. She has very strong natural improv instincts… a quick mind, positive energy, and the ability to spot “the game” of a scene and run with it. I encouraged her to come out to the Wednesday night beginner classes.

Sunday – We had a brief Affirmative Action practice in the morning. Mart was down with the flu this week and couldn’t attend. I’m truly hoping it won’t be my turn next. After practice, I rushed out to Toronto to shoot Scrambled Leggs, a female sketch comedy group. At the end of the day, I got to relax with Hesi and watch The Last Samurai.
