The best time to go to Ikea is on a Tuesday afternoon, during the worst snow storm of the year. You get your choice of parking spots, and there are no lines at the checkout. I took advantage of the situation to buy a new coffee table, a silver garbage pail for the bathroom (what’s with me and garbage pails?) and the best deal of the day: a thing to hold my shopping plastic bags for $1.99. Mmm… bargain.

get one! i had a hard time finding them because they are displayed assembled, and it’s like a cylinder of plastic with holes in the sides to pull the bags out. but, when they are on the shelf, they are flat like a door mat. even this simple thing you have to assemble it yourself! crazy!
EVERYTHING from Ikea requires assembly. I’m sure I had to do some sort of assembly when I got my baking apron there…
