Moving weekend is almost over. I’m completely beat. The place is still a mess, but better than before. I brought more stuff from my old apartment today. I had left a lot of things because the truck was full, and since I have the old apartment for another week, I thought I’d just take my time moving the rest of it. But I think I got most of it today. I brought all the stuff from the fridge, and all my clothes today. I grabbed my DVD collection from Dad’s place. There’s still some big stuff, like my bike, and my satellite dish, and the BBQ. The BBQ is a heartbreaker. I have to take it to Dad’s, and then donate it to his girlfriend, since there’s no place for a BBQ here. 🙁 I’m gonna be lost this summer, since I cook about 60% of my meals on the BBQ in the summer.

I also bought some things today. Now that I have a nice place to live, I am finding need for things I didn’t need before. Like, instead of just putting my dirty clothes into a green garbage bag, I felt the need for a laundry hamper. And instead of messy bars of soap, I bought a couple of cool-looking soap dispensers. The one for the bathroom is frosted glass with a crome pushbutton on top. The other is for the kitchen. It’s made of bright red ceramic and has chrome on top too. I also bought a fancy red German garbage can for the kitchen. It’s like the sports car of garbage cans. When the credit card bill arrives, I will learn the difference between “need” and “want.” Until then, fun continues…
