The annual meeting for our condo association was held in the front hall of the building. Since there are only 10 units in the building, and only 6 people came to the meeting, it wasn’t really crowded. Anyway, it was cool to meet more of my neighbours, although I’ve already met most of the ones who were there. The meeting had a formal structure, with minutes, scrutineers, moving, seconding, etc. But the atmosphere was very casual and humourous. I’m going to like living here. It seems like everyone thinks of everyone else as family, and looks out for everyone else’s needs. It’s like living in a small town, and it’s a good feeling. |
my friend and I cat-sat for this guy who lived in a condo complex another firend of ours lived in (if you can follow that 😉 ) and while we never got the impression from our friend… spending just a few evenings in the cat-guy’s condo really gave us a good impression of the place! He had a list of all the people who owned a condo in the building, and their contact info on his fridge… and people on his floor stopped by several times to make sure everything was okay (his neighbour especially – also a cat person 🙂 )
seemed like a great atmosphere to live in
That’s great to hear!!
