Gettin’ laid, gettin’ paid

I can really feel that my photography business could take off if I had the time to devote to it. I’m getting constant requests now to take photos and get paid for them. My day job is becoming more and more of a hindrance. But, I had a strange feeling last night. As the girl was leaving last night after her shoot, she handed me the money for the sitting fee, which I put on the counter. I looked at it sitting there, and I saw that cliched image of money given to a hooker for services rendered. It brought me way back to Hesi’s comments about getting paid for photography being like getting paid for sex. 😐 Then I remembered how much I paid for all of this equipment, and how I bought a loft specifically for taking photos in. I got over it quite quickly after that. 😛

    heh … I feel pretty much exactly the same when I take pics for money. It’s hard to believe that I’m gettin’ paid for something that feels so gooooood. erm … LMAO

    which reminds me… found an easier and cheaper way to get to hamilton: coach cananda! go it. Only takes an hour and runs a bit more frequently 🙂
