Ok. I finally caved in and started doing a backup of my photos. I checked, and I was up to over 22GB of photos! I would probably kill myself if something happened and I lost all of them. Well, maybe not actually KILL myself, but I’d definitely be sad. And I don’t want to be sad. So, it’s backup time. I’m backing them up to the little computer I hooked up to the TV. I’ll feel much better when I find a way to back up stuff and take it completely out of the building. That probably means buying a DVD-burner, which is cheap now. But, I’m betting that the building won’t burn down, and that no one breaks in here and steals all my stuff.
*runs away to knock on wood*
Wow, that’s weird. When I bought my DVD burner I had 21 GB of photos on my HD. SPOOKY!
Yea i have to delete the pictures from harddrive after i burn them to CDs, and the idea that htey’re so vulnerable there drives me insane.
Great thing you finaly secured your stuff *nod*
ouch.
yeah after i got the 80gig harddrive i stopped backing up. considering that some cds i originally burned aren’t really reading anymore …
we have a dvd writer, its on upstairs computer. but if i want to back my recent work + some old work it’d take 2 dvds and sooo much work.
anyway, don’t worry. since you’re already backing up nothing bad can happen!
😮 but now i’m worried about your stuff!
