I had a good day. It was busy, but good. I had a few decent appointments in the morning for work, and they went well. I fixed some stuff, and made people happy about their computers again.

Then I had my meeting with the three women who run Gallery 252, which is in an Anglican cathedral on James Street. They wanted to see some of my photography for possible display in the gallery. I was a little nervous about content restrictions for a gallery in a church, but it didn’t seem to matter. They were really impressed with my photos, and are willing to show any photos I choose. So now, I’m preparing for a show in October. Mainly, I need a title and a description of the show. The opening night reception will be on October 1, and the show will run for the entire month. I’m pretty excited about it. I need more photos though. There’s room for at least 25, and the choosing will be difficult. I’m planning to expand my Femme Elemental series for sure. I lined up a shoot today with one model, and I have another girl in mind for the series as well. I’ll also be shooting some more kitchen-themed shots.

After that, more boring computer-related work and banking, which seemed to fly by. Zoom. :sprint:

I played in the Counterpoint/Theatresports show tonight. It seems like it’s been a long time since I was on stage, even though I know that’s not the case. At the most it’s been a couple of weeks. I personally didn’t feel like I was too strong tonight, but it was still fun. The scenes were a little wild and weird. They tended to lean towards dark themes. One cool thing was that I got to play with Nada for the first time. She’s a new player, and I always feel energized by playing with new people.

After the show, Nada, Fiona, KPR and I went for some drinks in Hess Village. It was my first patio evening of the year. The first patio drinks of the year always spell the beginning of summer for me. I have a good feeling about this summer. I think it’s gonna be a great one. 🙂 And Jen’s coming very soon!
