I spent most of the day offline today, working on other people’s computers. When I have a customer’s computer here for a repair, I usually plug it into the monitor and keyboard that I usually use for my own machine. That means I can’t be online with MSN or email or anything. It’s a weird feeling. Before Jen got here I would just go online upstairs, but I’d always have to go up there to check for messages and stuff. Being offline is kind of liberating, but also unnerving. On the positive side, I got a ton of work done today.
Tonight is I,Robot night. I can’t wait. :bounce:
i was offline most of today while i was at work – because i was afraid of something bad happening, AGAIN, while I looked up student addresses. (I licked 168 envelopes today. YUCK!) . I don’t know if it was liberating… though I probably would’ve been even more stressed out if people were msging me and interupting my database searching…
i’m offline for a whole WEEK soon though! 😮 I’m scared!
isn’t it scary just HOW addictive we are to internet?
being offline by choice is better then being on dialup willingly, I tell ya
“You need to unplug Neo”
🙂
It’s good for ya … even if for short periods.
