My new website is up and running at https://www.kevinthom.com 🙂 That was pretty grueling, but it was kind of fun too. I haven’t worked to deadline in a while. I have to say the “About” section was the hardest part to do. I’m not very comfortable writing about myself, so it was hard to come up with a format that I could stick to. I wanted it to be in first-person too, because that’s how photographers should connect with their subjects, so I couldn’t even cheat by stealing one of my pre-made bios from before.
Anyway, I needed it up by today because Jen and I agreed to launch our new sites on the same day. She’s going to be announcing mine in her journal, which will probably cause some people to look at it later today. Can you guys tell me if you see anything that needs fixing? 🙂
I’m going to sleep. Early day ahead. I’m leaving for Toronto at around 6:30 or 7:00 to help my friend Janet move into her new house.
Goodnight.
Yay! Congratulations 🙂
I actually just came from there and thought ‘hey he probably updated his journal.’ haha
I love the about section, it’s exactly what I was thinking about yesterday. This is brilliant as well “we’ll find out when I can put my eyes to work for you?” Perfect 🙂
– Under “What do I do?” third line, occasionally should only have one s.
– Under “Modeling for Kevin” Last line should be professional.
– Under “Contact”
This line is a bit weird “If you’d like to book a shoot, purchase prints, or have any other questions at all, please contact me.” Change have to ask maybe? dunno this one is up to you
It’s clean, informative, easy to get around and it oozes you. Well done! You must feel awesome.
I’ve had a shower and worked out and now I’m more awake, so the part under contact makes sense now.. duh I’ll be ok 🙂 Leave it be!
