I got my 12-24mm Sigma lens today. It’s a big part of the puzzle in my trip to Thailand, because outdoor shots with big sky are so much more dramatic with the right lens. I’m excited to try it out in some exotic locales. Sharpness is acceptable, but not brilliant and heart-stopping. I’ll have to do more experimentation with it. Here’s a shot of my livingroom I took by putting the camera on my lunch counter. Improvised tripod! I can use this photo to look at while I’m away if I feel homesick. 😀
