I did engagement photos for Tamara and Jarek today. We went down to Spencer Smith park in Burlington. It was damn cold today. 8 degrees Celsius, following a day that hit 28C. She was freezing. But, both were very brave, and bundled up in sweaters between shots. Anyway. Here’s my favorite from the day.
I’ll be shooting some photos for them once they come back from their honeymoon in Cuba. She’ll be wearing her gown, and he’ll be in his tux. We’ll shoot them in an old stone village-type area in Burlington. I always said I wouldn’t shoot wedding photos, but this is different somehow. I just don’t like the idea of shooting on the actual wedding day with everyone feeling all stressy and exhausted. These will jsut be portraits, that happen to be taken in bridalwear 😛
Ya … after-the-fact wedding photos, THAT should be interesting. I totally agree about the stress and such. I was only ever at 2 weddings as a guest and it stressed ME out … never mind the bride and groom! I can’t wait to see the results, I’m sure they’ll be stunning.
wow, very nice and natural.
(and green).
verz green indeed
i like the guys expression on this one
and 8 and sunnz is better than if it suddenlz started raining, yo
Beautifully bright and airy. This is how it should look.. there’s too much tension on the wedding day for this kind of comfortable outcome.
I look forward to more 🙂
really beautiful and romantic shot…
hope you’ll show us some of the
‘wedding’ photos as well 🙂
