I had a show at the Tranzac Club in Toronto tonight, the first time in several weeks I’ve touched improv. I felt very out of shape, improv-wise, and it probably showed. I felt that the set we did tonight was definitively mediocre. It wasn’t stinking bad, but it was certainly not genius. I really need to do more improv soon. I’m missing another class on Saturday because I’ll be at the cottage in Magnetewan, and I’ll miss a stage opportunity (Cage Match) on Sunday because of the cottage and also family stuff. Next week I’ll be off to Finland and England. It’s quite possible that the next time I have an opportunity to do any improv will be on stage on August 18 when we do Crazy Eights at the festival. That’s a scary thought. I’m going to have to drag my jetlagged ass into class on August 13, the day after I return from my trip…
Mediocre at Tranzac

crazy how life can just suddenly take over and you find you’re missing some of the things you love to do, eh?
When I sit back and realize it’s the middle of JULY, i wonder where all the summer went and why haven’t I knitted anything?! 😐
(of course, it could also be a back lash from knitting for charlie, when i was pumping out like a scarf or hat a day…)
definitely. it’s worth reminding yourself to make room in your life for the things you love to do, because they deserve higher priority than they often get 🙂
Where the heck have I been? … you’re leaving for the other side of the world next week!!? Uhm, have fun, take loads of pictures and be safe!!!
yay yay
i am definitely surethe trip will be worth all the difficulties :D:D
