I’m packed and ready, ahead of schedule. It’s a bit of a weird feeling. I don’t know what’s gotten into me. I even managed to get everything into the small suitcase, including snow pants and ski jacket. After numerous trips this year, I’ve finally learned to pack light. Just a couple of pairs of pants, a couple of different kinds of shirts, one of my Maggie-toques, underwear and socks. No extra shoes. I’ll probably find that even this stripped down selection is too much stuff. My camera bag is all packed too. I’m leaving the 10D at home, and just bringing a few lenses with me. I even had time to clean out the car and get rid of all the extra crap I’ve been hauling around for no reason. So now I’m just sitting around. I leave tomorrow morning at 4:30am.
