Someone told me a doctor told them that each human being has a finite number of heartbeats, and it’s not good to use them all up too quickly. First of all, of course we have a finite number of heartbeats, otherwise our hearts would beat forever. Second, none of us knows how many we have left. So don’t bother conserving. Just go out and use your heart as much as you want.
Limited quantities

I guess we all have a finite number of crossings of a street too … eventually you’d be hit by a car, bus, truck, whatever. But if we all worried about being hit by a car, we’d all be looking at each other from across streets!
well i remember learing the neat thing that the lenth of life and speed of heart beat are dependent so that every living thing has approximately the same number of heart beats during their lifetime.
like, mice’s heart is really fast and they die in three years, and elephants are really slow and they die slowly too 😛
😮 but what about st. bernards? they are really big, and they don’t live very long. tiny dogs live much longer.
i guess we all have a finite quantity of everything before we die… ice cream sundaes, margeuritas, sprained ankles…
