It’s spring, and every spring I mourn my inability to char meat on a grill. You can’t underestimate the importance of barbequed food. Seriously. Anyway, at our building, we’re always debating the location of an outdoor patio where we could have a barbeque, but nothing ever happens. So, I did a little photochop of where I’d like to put it. To me it seems like a great location. It runs along the hallway on the second floor, and the window on the side (in the shadow side in the photo) is for the stairwell. There would be no privacy issues. There’s a cutout in the brick where there used to be a door, so getting through the wall would probably not be a huge problem. I doubt it will happen because it would be too expensive, but I can have dreams, right?

Where’s Emeril yo?
How wide will that little balcony be? You gotta have some room. I think that might be too small to cook comfortably, but it depends on the size of the grill.
emeril’s on the right side of the photo. yeah, this diagram is not to scale. my drawing skillz are not so good, so it’s a pretty poor representation of what the glorious reality would be.
I suggest the roof!
it involves no building.
and i saw that stair there… it might be hard to ge t the bbq there though
hehe
hehe yeah i don’t want to carry a BBQ up the ladder.
hire a crane to get the bbq up and then do bungee jumps off the crane for the rest of the day. call it “lets jump start the bbq” day!
