I heard an interview with a professor from the States who specializes in the physics of superheroes. He has calculated that for Superman to leap tall buildings (1/8 mile high) in a single bound, he would have to attain an initial velocity of 140mph by exerting 6000 pounds of pressure against the ground. It has inspired me to spend more time at the gym. I think my best was about 400 pounds on the leg press. Almost… almost…

But Superman doesnt even leap from building to building, he just flies. Spiderman is the one who leaps, and daredevil too. Not to mention Hulk and many others.
the original comic book superman was “faster than a speeding bullet,” and “able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.” it’s all written down in history, man.
Heh you just reminded me of Brodie in Mallrats talking about how Loise could never have Superman’s kids =P
I’m still working on channeling wonder woman maybe we can bench press together muwha
