It’s been a while since I’ve had a shoot just for the hell of it. I missed creating photos just for the sake of creating. Anyway, I contacted Meg because she has the kind of glamorous and bodacious look I wanted to shoot. I asked Julia Terry to do the makeup. I asked for a kind of early 1990’s glam look. I told Julia that if she felt she had gotten to a point where the hair and makeup was big enough, to go one step further. Here are a few previews from the shoot:
In a couple of these, I was really pressing myself to shoot out of my own style a bit. It’s the only way I think I can grow and get better. The last one is the one I went into the shoot intending to take… kind of a typical Valentine’s Day photo with something just a bit “off” about it. 🙂
Thats glam from the early 90s hair? I thought it was almost like 80s glam but a bit flatter, kinda like the dudes from Poison, kinda like this: https://cc-deville.tripod.com/the_glam_years/thumbnails/400×300/psnccwastedlook.jpg
Still they look great. 2 and 4 are my favorites. Especially 2. Toight!
Well despite picture not working…i think you know what I mean =P
the third one is my favourite… also the most superkev one, I realize that.
These all are going for sex. When you were talking about the shoot I thought it would be something less sexy and more outrageously crazy. You haven’t done crazy in a while. And with those backdrops… come on you HAVE to.
Wow, these look great. I especially love the darker ones which have something new within your own distinct style. Although you already had me at 90’s glam and that zebra background. 😀
