My first level one class was a big success. The students are 8 very different people ranging in age from 17 to over 60. Everyone had a different level of improv experience too, from zero to Second City Conservatory and everything in between. It was great to bond everyone together, and by the end of the class, everyone was amazed and thrilled at how close they’d become in the short period of 3 hours. I’ve started instilling the ITC improv philosophy into them as well, which is that while there’s no such thing as a bad choice, but there are ways to ensure more consistently awesome choices. Let the indoctrination begin! 😛
It turns out that my Cagematch appearance has been rescheduled to next Sunday night. 8pm at the Bad Dog. Come and vote for me! You know you wanna… 😀
