My roommate Emily wanted some photos done while I had my camera in Montreal. Even though we hang out quite a lot together, we could only find about 30 minutes in which to take some photos. I had this idea to take her pictures in the fountains at Place des Arts. I expected her to say no, like any sane person. Fortunately, she’s not sane. The water was absolutely freezing. It was as cold as tap water on a winter day. I’m not sure whether they refrigerate it before pumping out of the fountains, but it sure felt like it. Anyway, I kept her in there for about 20 minutes, until the sun was too low to shoot anymore. Here are some of the shots.

Well hello hello…..
She doesnt seem nippy though 😮
you lucky sod, having such a beautiful roommate,
i particularly like the first and third picture,
So beautiful! 🙂
well worth the sacrifice
That looks like so much fun! Great results : )
Diny, one day, when you finally get to second base with a girl, you will discover the wonder that a bra is 😛
Hesi, one day, when you finally stop making baseball analogies, you will discover that nippy isnt just related to nipples. Look it up.
I was referring to goosebumps that a lot of people get when they are cold. Her skin seems very smooth, so that made me wonder. Not that I’m questioning Kevin, i just found it interesting.
First, i like the person who called me beautiful 🙂 but i commend Kevin’s skill on this one! AND I can attest to the fact that the water was BEYOND nippy it was downright frigid! I’m actually cursing Kevin for his “get in a fountain and splash around” idea! i think it warmed up as the process went on though.. or i went comfortably numb 🙂
Wow!
Em, those pictures are GREAT!
You are as beautiful as I remember!
Wow Kevin!
I particularly like the 1st pic., the light is fantastic (and the subject too!)
The other ones are great too, good work!
It just breaks my heart to think about this poor little Emily freezing in the fountain with her clothes all wet…
Emily, don’t be shy, you are FAN-TA-BU-LOUS!
