Over here in the UK, the big story right now is how many local councils, charities and other organisations are scrambling to try and get their money back from the Icelandic banks that recently collapsed. It has gotten so bad that the Prime Minister, Gordon Brown has written to his counterpart in Iceland demanding assurances that the situation be resolved. 😐
I dread to think how much my stock holdings have gone down in value the last few weeks. Good thing I’ve got cash savings as well, and am investing for the long term… *fingerscrossed*
